Remembrance (Saved!)

An Album I created back in 1998 as a Christmas gift to my wife. Some of these pieces were created over many years of life, others in one day. Please feel free to download this album and listen to it as you study God's word.

Listen to a selection of songs from the album below
The full album contains songs not listed below (15 tracks to be exact)

The Tree (Daniel 4)
Written as a musical interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a tree and the prophet Daniel's interpretation of that dream in the book of Daniel chapter 4.
God’s Spotlight
This piece depicts how we cannot hide anything from the Lord God almighty.  He is all-knowing whether I like it or not.  He is aware of my every thought, whether I like it or not.  And so, He also knows my every desire and heartache as well... and I am glad!
Walking in the Light II
Part II.  A quicker variation of part I.
Saved!
This is my favorite piece on the album, hence the reason why I made it the album subtitle.  It is a depiction of my life before (the minor sounding beginning) and after (the triumphant major sound at the end) my salvation through Christ Jesus.  My life has gradually changed A LOT over the past 10 years for the better and continues to.  The whole piece is in the key of C#m, my favorite key... :)
God is Love (I John 4)
This piece was inspired by my mother's relationship with Christ.  Quiet, yet very present, in my mother was a true warrior in that she endured an awful lot throughout her life here on earth.  She went to be with Jesus in 1998 and I look forward to seeing her in eternity!  She used to say "God is love" when encouraging me or explaining things to me, but it wasn't until after she died and I was saved that it finally sunk into my thick skull that she was actually quoting scripture.  1 John 4:8b is where it is.  I played this song combined with "Candlelight Prayer" at my mother's funeral services.  I don't think there was a dry eye in the house... especially not mine.
Candlelight Prayer
This is a song that I wrote back in 1997 or so.  I asked my mother and father what I should name it.  My father said "Candlelight", and my mom suggested "The Mother's Prayer".  So, you can see how I got the name.
